Sunny Reveals in Interview, “I Got into an Argument with Taeyeon and Tiffany”

Sunny recently appeared on a radio program where she was interviewed about a variety of topics. She was asked about which fellow Girls’ Generation members she is close to, and the answer she gave caught people’s attention.

Sunny boldly announced, “Recently, I got into an argument with Taeyeon and Tiffany. The ‘TaeNy’ pairing always gets so much attention, and that had been bothering me. I know it wasn’t completely fair to take out my frustration on them just because the fans like the pairing so much, but I couldn’t help it.”

When the radio host asked Sunny how serious the argument was, Sunny calmed everyone by saying, “It wasn’t really serious. We weren’t really yelling or physically fighting. I just vented some feelings of frustration at them.”

The radio host went on to ask Sunny why she was so frustrated with the TaeNy pairing, to which she responded, “It’s mainly the ‘TaeNy’ name that bothers me. Why is it that only Taeyeon and Tiffany together can be called ‘TaeNy’?” Sunny continued by saying, “My name ends in ‘ny’ also, but SONEs don’t refer to Taeyeon and me together as ‘TaeNy’.”

Sunny finally revealed her true feelings by saying, “Why must they insist on calling us ‘Dandyu’? Why do they only focus on our shortness? Most other Girls’ Generation pairings just combine the names of the two members involved, but the name for our pairing specially mentions our height!”

After the radio interview ended, Sunny stood up, walked out of the studio, and let out her frustration by saying, “Stress!” When netizens found out about this sequence of events, they began speculating that Sunny had begun to favor the SunSica pairing.
