On June 6th, it was reported by Korea’s largest advertisement information site, TV CF, that the celebrity with the most CF appearances over the past year (since June 5th, 2011) is Girls’ Generation with a total of 26 CFs. This includes CFs that all the group members were in as well as ones that individual members were in.
Representative advertisements include LOOK, Eider, Ace Beds, and Lotte Department Store sale ads. Girls’ Generation’s Yoona was in fifth place by herself, as she also appeared 20 CFs, the same amount as Won Bin. Not only has Yoona appeared in CFs with her members, but she also appeared in Innisfree ads alone, which caused her to be ranked in the higher end of the chart.

Love seeing the girls in CFs because we get to see them trying different outfits/makeup/hairstyles etc. And also means we constantly see them appearing on TV, magazines etc. Constant exposure is the key to marketing. Win-win for SM, the girls and the companies they endorse. Win for the fans too, but not good for our wallets
Soshi’s popularity is gaining new heights everyday, I’m so happy. :) Their influence in S.Korea is no joke, I saw it for myself, its evident especially in the teenagers. :D
this actually serves as a great indicator of the interest and influence
that korean society feels snsd has. if they think people will be influenced
by snsd doing something, and they want to appeal to as large a customer
base as possible, then they must be high in popularity. this seems obvious,
but getting these tangible examples is always reassuring. and good pick for
the representative CF picture…my favorite!!!
