SM Entertainment has opened a webpage for Taeyeon’s upcoming solo releas, “I”. The website is found at http://taeyeon.smtown.com/ and currently contains six teaser images for Taeyeon’s solo. The main image and five photos are also shown below.
Taeyeon’s first solo will be a mini-album titled “I”. The mini-album will be released digitally on October 7th at midnight KST and in stores on October 8th.

Why only a mini-album? I think Taeyeon has enough diversity and talent to fill a full album!
Well, maybe it’s like some kind a tester for general public whether the response would be positive or not. I mean, this her first solo album as a solo artist. SONE of course most likely would react positively, but who knows with general public, despite no one deny Taeyeon has beautiful voice and had many successful OSTs in the past. Maybe if the mini album is a success, then the next would be a full album.
