I think that studying music is fine as well only if that's what the person really wants to do/learn more about. I would rather study something I'm comfortable with than do something I would hate for the rest of my life. There's nothing wrong with studying something you enjoy. I've never doubt Taeyeon's capabilities and especially
her intelligence, her reply clearly displayed both qualities.
In a blunt outlook, she's right, many celebrities doesn't end up
doing their studying as earnestly as they would like for they are busy
fulfilling their career. In the long run, it'll be good to have education
reserved on your pocket, but I guess it's never too late to
catch up with learning down the road rather than rushing to it now
just cause it reflects on your profile.
I expect Taeng in the future to pursue her studies, but as of right now,
she's barely keeping above waters in all her schedules..

Gosh, I'm so proud of our umma. I know what she means too. She'd rather put her effort into achieving one thing and doing an excellent job at it rather that putting half her effort and doing an average job when she know that she could've done better. She wants to be a singer now and so she places all her effort into it. And later, she wants to genuinely learn and so she will focus all her effort on that. Gah, this just makes me love her more.
