And even during off-air, you greet people with "(one...two..three) Hello. This is SNSD".
mmmm wait, Who is that person? Oh, don't be alarmed; he is my manager. He likes Tiffany so much. Look at his face going pink.

M: You were so cute then. The dog name is Tiffany. Is that ok?

M: How many events in one day?
SNSD: More than three....

M: When do you wake up?
TY: It all depends, but sometimes 5 o'clock...
Jess: as early as 4 o'clock...
Tiff: Yea we wake up at 4, then go out for work at 5.

M: You all have trained a long time before the debute. Which one of you has had the longest training?
Jess: I did....started when I was 5th grade.
M: wow. so that's how many years?
Jess: About 7 years.
M: Why didn't they let her debute a bit earlier? She's so pretty! [Tiffany laughs]
Jess: No no... um... I was the youngest always...and there were many unnies and oppas who were all great.
Afterall, their age were about to go over the limit, so they had to debute fast. (Jokingly)

M: Wasn't there hard times?
Jess: No. I enjoyed training and participated as a learning student.
M: You have a great personality. I often got angry, and if I were left behind, I blocked my ears and ran around.
Jess: I was...not like....instead....I felt I wasn't up to my own standard, and because of that, I had some slumps.
M: Are you perfectionist?
Jess: No...but I think everyone experienced the same...TY, SH, and all others.
M: Wasn't there anything like....you were about to be in a group (that debuted earlier) but someone else took
part of the group instead of you? or something like that.
TY,Jess: Um....We are not too sure.
M: That's one of the top secrets isn't it?
TY: No haha no....

M: I am very curious on how the team, SNSD, got formed. How did that happen? Who were the first member of the team?
TY: We didn't go like, "Let's pick members", but the students take part in dancing training, singing training, or launguage study in the same class. Then, SM entertainment held a ShowCase for some competition. For that purpose,
some people got teamed up with others. [Somehow] the current SNSD members had matching images, and had various talents in many different areas, so in the end, the SNSD was made.
M: I see. Is there anyone who is interested in other areas like acting in here?
Jess: After training some more, I'd like to try acting. I don't think I will be up for Drama, movies or anything like that, but I want to try maybe sitcoms(comedy).
M: What kind of character do you want?
Jess: Someone who has very similar personality as mine.
M: Can you do something really hardcore which may damage your current image?
Jess: That.......that.....

M: Well, it's comedy, so don't you have to make fun of yourself?
Jess: I can......I can....do it....with my style. I am confident that I can make people laugh using my own style.

M: That kind of role might be good for you.

M: A while ago, I saw something on the Internet. I am not too sure if I should say this or not, but here it goes.
I saw a thread about Tiffany in some forum. There were pictures which showed only Tiffany had her hand up while other members
had hands down, and vice versa.
Tiff: I know what you are talking about. I saw it too.
M: I am a bit curious. People say that you are a little bit slow on action. Is that true?
Tiff: I have an excuse for that particular picture. That day, moving.......um....there were a lot of events on that day.
We were going back and forth from place to place. Because it was an outside event, we had to change our clothes inside our car.
But, we had only a little break between each event...so we were running out of time and uh....
Jess: so that's why you forgot our dance moves?
Tiff: No! I didn't forget... annoyed.gif
TY: Do tell the truth. Don't make excuses. (Jokes)
Tiff: (Ignores) You have to attach a pin to the shirt and....but that day we were running out of time, and I didn't get chance to
attach the pin. so...
M: I see. You couldn't put your hand up because of that.
Tiff: If you see it carefully, [Blah Blah Blah...goes on explain] so I had to hold my shirt. That's why I didn't had put my hand up like others.
TY: Oh now I see...that was close.

TY: No, she is DULL.

Jess: She's..cute, all alone. Only she makes mistakes, but people adore that.

Tiff, TY: Distributing food at lunch times, training, playing games with the soldiers.

Jess: I felt they train very hard for the nation. I am proud of them.

M: "What was the greatest moment in your life?" "When SNSD members were decided".
You were that happy?
Tiff: Yes. Just like what TY said earlier. We practiced together for about one and half year, but the members were not set. So, when they told me the members were decided we were like "Let's practice harder"...tears came down....
TY: "This is it".
M: I bet all members felt the same way.
TY: Of course. We cried...
Tiff: and smiled...
M: Because there were 9 members in the team, there might be a time that you thought you were inferior.

Tiff: No...they are at the US. Thanks to technology, we can exchange txt msg easily. I don't really send txt msg to daddy

TY: You miss your dad, don't you?
Tiff: Yea I miss alot, especially thesedays...

Jess: Well, now I became quite good at speaking Korean, but sometimes I make mistakes. And he makes fun of my mistakes. Well at that time, he didn't make fun of me of just one thing but many other things.
and I try to stay calm but as they add on, I couldn't bare it. I was all ready for the interview with make up on but

I was born in Korea but I still make mistakes, and Jessica was born in the US.

SNSD released its first album. The title song, SNSD, is the remake of Lee's hit song in late 80's...
Tiffany: It's 1989.
M: Oh yes 1989... The first time you heard that this will be your title song, what was your reaction?
TY: Well, when we decided the team name, we were like "wait a sec, wasn't there a song called SNSD?".
So we already knew this song existed and it was planned.....
Tiff: It was planned before our debute (that we were going to sing SNSD)...
TY: Yup..it was planned.
M: The song perfectly fits your image. Even more so, the lyrics describe what SNSD is.
You had a collaboration stage with Mr.Lee a while ago, right? I saw it then. How was it?
TY: It was a great honor for us to stand on the same stage with him because we respect him so much.
He always gives kind remarks on our performances every time we meet him, and...
Tiff: He treats us like his own daughter. We thank him and love him.
M: That's so kind of him. What does he say about SNSD, Jessica?
Jess: He told us that, he likes the new SNSD very much, and greets us with kind smile everytime.

M: The album was released in the midst of your promotion activities for the first single, ITNW. How did you find
time to record the first album when you were so busy promoting ITNW?
Jess: In the day time, we promoted ITNW, and in the evening, we recorded our songs and practiced dancing.
We didn't have much time to spare as we did with ITNW, but we shortened sleeping time to make up for it.
We did our best.
Tiff: SNSD always try their best.
M: I can see from your performances that you are trying your best. I know from my experience how hard it is to record and promote at the
same time. My heart aches when I picture you girls going through all that hardship.
In the first album, there is a song composed by Kangta, isn't there?
TY: That's right. Kangta gave us a song that fits our image. The song is about a couple that has a 10 years of age
difference.
M: It was a duet with TY, right?
TY: Right, I was so honoured that I sing a duet with Kangta.
M: Well then, since the song was composed by Kangta, he must have guided you when recording.
TY: Yeah.
Tiff: That's sooo nice.
M: Oh, then, other members didn't participate in the recording?
Tiff: We wanted to see but,
Jess: We had other things to do...
Tiff: and had to practice.

Well I skimmed most of the messages and they all come down to "You are pretty", "I am proud of you".
Moving onto the next person Sica sica Jessica.

Tiff: Who is that?
M: Who is that person you want her to be in your room?
Jess: mmm I don't have anyone like that.

TY: Tete is my nick name. When I was born my mom named me Taeyeon, but my brother, who was 1 years old, couldn't pronouce it so he said Tete.
I have been called as Tete since then.
