Recognized as Girls' Generations most outstanding dancer. Hyoyeon talks about how she almost quit SNSD and went to study abroad.

On the December 22nd episode of SBS Strong Heart, Hyoyeon said "Up until now, I have honed my dancing skills and showed it to everyone while debuting with SNSD. But there were rough times as well." She said "There was also a time where I thought about quitting SNSD and going to study abroad." When she said this, it was a shock to everyone.

She also spoke of a time before she debuted, where she was a dancer on one of BoA's stage. She worked very hard and was behind a curtain and put on a dance show as a shadow and received no recognition.

This selfless testimony was given on SBS Strong Heart that will air tomorrow tonight. And it touched everyone that was in the room.

Meanwhile, today's broadcast will feature SNSD's Hyoyeon, Taeyeon, Seohyun, Kim Jang Hoon, Eun Ji Won, Shin Bong Sun, Hur Lee Jae, Won Ki Joon, Mal Sool Sa Um Ki Joon, Byul, and Yeo Yook Hwan. This show will air on the 22nd at 1105pm.

aww im glad hyoyeon didnt leave snsd whats snsd without our dancing queen!
poor hyoyeon she worked so hard in the stage performance but she didnt get any credit for it

well i guess it's good to further studies... i mean they are all so young... wouldn't be surprised if one of them decided to go overseas and study... i think seohyun and yuri got a place in local universities right? even so... those are usually the arts collages... so i think maybe the girls might want a different experience and all.... i'm glad they are actually thinking about the future... not trying to put down celebrities... but have to admit that their career are rather short-lived... so it's good that they actually think about their lives and all... Seeing a clip of Hyoyeon as a silhouette dancer for Boa during MKMF 05 is kind of..emotional.
Y'know? Not getting recognition for the hard work you put in and just put in the shadows.
I love SNSD, but as a dancer, it's not the group for someone like her.
Especially when people criticize you on your looks instead of talent.
I love her in the group though, her humor makes me smile.
I wouldn't like her to quit, but I can see what she's trying to do if she makes the decision to leave.

Glad hyoyeon did not leave snsd, if not, it won't be a perfect 9 anymore.
Must be really sad for hyoyeon back then to work so hard and not get the recognition on BoA's stage.
But now, she's established herself as the dancing queen in SNSD and has the support from all the sones.

That's pretty crazy. Glad to see Hyoyeon on a variety show though and able to show her personality a bit, instead of just someone who can ONLY dance. She's got a mind of her own, and its great to hear her talk about real life things too!

Awww~ I'm sooooo glad she didn't quit SNSD. SNSD wouldn't have been the same without her. It must've been so hard trying to get recognition while just being in the back but its okay now. She's in SNSD and everyone loves and knows about her.

This saddened my heart because I can't picture SNSD without Hyo.
She deserves so much recognition, not only for the BoA stage but her contribution to SNSD

I still remember watching that performance and Hyo's dancing was amazing, as usual. I wasn't aware that she didn't get any recognition
for it though. Which is a shame, considering how great she did. But it's all good, seeing as SNSD is ridiculously successful now and she
was no doubt an essential part of that happening. I hope Hyo can continue to become more loved and recognized .. Hyorengi hwaiting!
