basically the girls are mentioned in the newspaper regarding their GREAT achievements in the recent Golden Disk Award and Melon Music Award.
"Slave" contract with SM has also been mentioned in here together with Super Junior and DBSK.
At the bottom right, SNSD got 1st in the year 2010 ranking, 2nd by MC Mong, 9th by Tablo and 10th my Kolleen Park (sorry as I couldn't manage to interpret number 3 to 8 as my chinese is limited to this extend).
Anyone who has a better Chinese language please do help to translate more. Thank you!

Yea, the article talks about top 10 artist for 2010 in korea chosen by nikkansports(not totally sure bout this).

Girl group, SNSD took Asia by storm with their beauty legs, taking up the top spot. 2nd, 3rd spot goes to the hiphop artist MC Mong, who plucked out his teeth in order to avoid Military Service and newcomer, Yoon Si Yoon, whose popularity skyrocket with the drama, King of Baking respectively; Choi Jin Young and Park Young Ha who committed suicide, takes the 6th place.

SNSD was successful in their Japan debute. Their Japanese singles, Gee and Genie sold well and broke the 100000 mark. In Korea, their high popularity continued to rise and they got the award of the year in Melon and GDA and even got chosen as the Korean best singer in the newest Gallup poll.

LOL anyway regarding the contract period, I think it is VERY good that now SM reduces their contract period, why? because personally I feel poor for them, though we also have to thank SM for making the girls as success as we could see now, but they have been so tired,counts from the training/ pre-debut days, until they have been debuting. maybe if on 2014 Soshi still wants to be a part of SM, they're gonna deal and discuss together later.
