Girls’ Generation was presented with a special award for the “Best Jewellery Dresser” at the International Jewels and Accessories Show in Odaiba, Japan. Hiroshi Mizohata, the Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner, presented the award to Girls’ Generation.
Seohyun represented the group by accepting the award and used a reference that is sure to be recognized by SONEs as she said, “We will continue singing songs that are as bright as the jewels”.
The girls are well-known for wearing fashionable clothing and accessories whether they are at red carpet events or at the airport. Congrats again ladies on winning this this award. 1st time I’m hearing of this kind of award but it ain’t new since it’s the 23rd yr and has been held in Japan every year since was created. I’ve always associate jewellery with “elegance”. There is really no better representative of elegance for ladies other than these girls. I’m happy the girls have matured so much over their course of career :D
This is such a bizarre award… but Japan also has best jeans wearer and best nails so I guess it’s not so weird in Japan… Anyway! I love how in the last picture all the girls are posing like models as if they were doing a photoshoot for the bracelet BUT Taeyeon is just like *points to the bracelet*! Haha! So obvious!
i don’t attempt to be the best deductive reasoner,
but it seems that, regardless of the article of clothing
or accessory, the award for the best wearer seems
to go to our girls. if the only thing that changes in
these contests is the clothing or accessory, that
would lead me to believe that it is the girls that are
making the clothing or accessory as beautiful as it can
be. am i close with this? :-)
