After performing on the “Late Show with David Letterman” last night, Girls’ Generation continued their New York promotions today with a performance of “The Boys” on “Live! with Kelly”. They performed a shortened version of “The Boys”, complete with stunning outfits, powerful vocals, and a perfectly polished choreography.
Host Kelly Ripa and guest host Howie Mandel also took the time to have a short talk with the members of Girls’ Generation, and mentioned that they were surprised by the fanchants and screams by the fans in attendance. Kelly Ripa even remarked, “I’ve never seen such audience participation in my life.” Girls’ Generation also showed the two hosts how to perform a move from the choreography of “The Boys”, and briefly discussed the audition process, as well as Jessica and Tiffany’s level of English fluency.
Finally, the official Twitter account for “Live! with Kelly” tweeted the above image of Girls’ Generation with Kelly Ripa, and included the message: “GG!! With the newest GG member?” Kelly Ripa also posted on her personal Twitter account: “Yes i am! Love @GirlsGeneration love!!!” in response to another Twitter user saying she is now becoming a fan of Girls’ Generation. Check out the performance and short interview segment below.

I thought they did better on David Letterman. But they were still amazing on Kelly too!

Amazing audience & it’s really hard to sing live @ a morning show but they pull it off. Howie kinda cut off Jessica while she’s saying something but the interview went well. Keep it up, GG! =))

i have yet to watch this performance. i dvr’d it,
and want to experience it as if i were watching
it live, since i couldn’t because of work, so i
will watch it soon, but i don’t need to withhold
my compliments. we all know, whether we have
watched it yet or not, that the girls gave their
hearts and souls to this performance, left an
incredible impression on not just sone, not just
the audience, but the entire world. i hope this
never stops…this excitement, this high-spiritness…

Absolutely fantastic performances on both “Letterman” & “Kelly.” Also glad to hear they blew up twitter after their performances. People here in America where I live have been laughing at me for many months now because I love GG….who’s laughing now!! Thanks to the girls for coming to NY to perform. You have made my whole year and we are only one month in. Let me say this one more time. Girls Generation does not need America, but America sure does need Girls Generation.
Maybe the girls are meant to meet in the beginning to reap all the success in the future..
Come to think of it, the first 4 (older ones) happens to belong in the short group whilst the next 4 ( from the youngest) were in the tall group. Tiffany who happens to be in the middle (by age) also the middle (by height)..
Another funny thing is that the first 4 unnies were the main vocalist whilst the next 4 belongs to the main dancers… seohyun the maknae on the otherhand happens to do both equally.
What a coincidence dont you think? Or I am just being a paranoid being a SONE!!! LOL

I watched it and it was the greatest thing. Yes, because I finally got to see them on my tv. :D I also like how they had a mini interview as well!!
lol The first thing Kelly Rippa said was how gorgeous all the girls looked. It was going to be either that or the shoes that she commented on, one has to figure lol. Tiffany deflected it by quickly returning the compliment. Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, all the way around! Waaa, just kills me!

They look beautiful including Kelly. They did wonderful, our angels always on point with their vocals and moves. Congrats ladies on doing a fantastic job, you make your S♥NEs very proud of you. Man after watching Letterman live over and over I couldn’t go to sleep because I was mesmerized by their performance. I went to bed 5am and set my alarm clock for 8:55am to watch them on Kelly. Proud to be a S♥NE. As expected from SNSD. Kamsahamnida SSF for update. :D
i had so much fun watching them. It’s my birthday which was why they allowed me to go inside and watch ! <3 i Loved it soooo much <3 They all waved at me and smiled . i melted a little :D <3 i LOVE SNSD!

Even tough the performance was short, it was very solid, the fanchants, the interview with all the jokes and funny interactions, made this appearance one to remember.
