Girls’ Generation’s Japanese fansite has just confirmed a Japan concert tour for Girls’ Generation in 2013. Though a schedule for the concert tour has yet to be announced, fanclub membership applications for fans living in Japan will open September 5th after 12 o’clock noon local time. Members of the fanclub will be eligible for priority applications for tickets to the concert tour. In addition, Girls’ Generation’s currently active mobile fansites will be closing in December, to be replaced by this new fanclub website.
This will be Girls’ Generation’s second concert tour in Japan. Girls’ Generation’s first Japanese tour took place in 2011, beginning on May 31st in Osaka and concluding on July 18th in Fukuoka. The concert tour also visited Saitama, Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Nagoya for a total of fourteen performances in six cities. As many as 140,000 fans attended Girls’ Generation’s first Japanese tour, with nearly 450,000 people looking to purchase tickets, suggesting that the tickets for the 2013 Japan concert tour will also be in high demand.

i am from boston, and i am seriously contemplating
flying to japan to see a concert. i watched the blu-ray
and was blown away. i cannot even imagine seeing the
girls play their incredible japanese lineup for me in
person. i am starting to freak out right now…at how
awesome…and expensive that would be. LOL!

Japan is so lucky…I wish I lived in Japan because the girls are always there! I want them to do a USA tour really badly! I’m looking forward to seeing them here next year (whenever their English album gets released.) I need more GG in my life…never can get enough! Watching video footage of their concerts isn’t nearly the same experience as being able to see them all live in person. I can’t wait until that day comes! ;)

awesome news to wake up to on SSF, thanks y’all for the news. i hope this time their Japan label or SM will let them hold one in the Tokyo Dome, since that’s one of Soshi dream to do a solo tour there. i hope the 140,000 peeps become the 450,000 peeps this time around or even higher. i hope these ladies won’t over work themselves like last time where some were being sick and still performing. they love what they do so much that they even risk their health further just to please their fans. this is going to be another fantastic year for SNSD and with their 2nd Japan album that’s going to be release, i’m sure they’re going to do what they did for the 1st Japan album last time. promote the album during the tour and i hope it’ll be another successful album on the charts. i can’t wait to see what their concept is going to be and how it’s going to sound. It hasn’t been announced. I don’t know if tickets will be based on lottery system too. Japan concerts are like that. If not, then the J-sones fanclub will get all the good seats before general sale.

oooh, I think after the Japan Tour there will be an Asia/World tour. From what I see, SNSD’s performance in Manila on January is SMENT’s way of testing the market. If many SONEs will come, Philippines will finally be in SMTOWN’s concert map. =D I’m excited to watch them hold a solo concert in my homeland!

its most likely gonna be a world tour after that, because theyre releasing an english album early that year, so i dont think theyll make all of that recording and preparation process without a solo world tour. i hope that they dont go during the australian HSC/senior final exams period, or else imma be mad. cos i really want to go. but i hope theyll be releasing a japanese album that time as well. like last year they released a japanese album concurrently with their japanese tour.
my best wishes to SNSD. i hope theyll acheive their dream of perfoming at toyko dome and get a sold out audience of 50,000 people. then we’ll see the biggest pink ocean ever. that is unless in theyre world tour theyll perform at at the jamsil olympic stadium.
Oh.. I do hope so too. Because tiffany mentioned the english album would be summer of 2012 but pushed it to 2013. I have feeling album is already done but they delayed it because they will release it prior to some US concert dates :) I also wonder if they will release another JP album before Japan Tour. This news excites me! But like other have said. I wonder if after their Japan Tour they will have 3rd Asia or World Tour? I wanna see them in Japan but I think I’ll wait because the Japan Tour was like a prelude to the better later concerts :)

I do hope that they can now better cope with their schedules in Japan… Or their managers give them a more manageable schedule. I for one don’t want to hear and see anything bad happening to them like what happened during their 1st Japan Tour.

why not? the japan tour is not until 2013. And we don’t know if it early, mid, or late 2013 yet? If they make korean comeback it will be 2012.
