Girls’ Generation’s fifth Japanese single, “Oh!”, and the “Girls’ Generation Complete Video Collection” both placed first on various daily charts on Oricon following their release on September 26th. The Japanese Version of “Oh!” placed first on Oricon’s “Daily Singles” Chart, selling 29,666 copies on its first day of release. Meanwhile, the “Girls’ Generation Complete Video Collection” also placed first on Oricon’s “Daily DVD” Chart, “Daily DVD Music” Chart, and “Daily DVD Blu-Ray” Chart.
The Japanese Version of “Oh!” also took the top spots on various charts for iTunes Japan as well. The song placed first on “Top Singles – Songs” and “Top Singles – Music Videos”, as well as the overall first place for the “Top Songs” and “Top Music Videos” charts in Japan. The achievements of Girls’ Generation’s fifth Japanese single and the “Girls’ Generation Complete Video Collection” show Girls’ Generation’s continuous success in the Japanese market.

I had pre-ordered both of these and they arrived on the release date. I can say it was an amazing purchase. Definitely worth every penny. All videos are crystal clear! ^^

I am so happy that the girls were able to top each and every chart in Japan, getting a very impressive all-kill across the board. And here’s what got me good. Girls’ Generation topped the charts over major artists AKB48 and Carly Rae Jepsen. And that’s not all, the girls’ previous music videos for the dance version of the “Paparazzi” PV as well as “Time Machine” make up the top three in the music videos chart. That’s a good thing too. So overall, i’m glad that Girls’ Generation were able to top the charts and I am so proud of the girls. Very, very, very, very proud.

that ladies and gentlemen this is the Power of 9 at work. i’m so freaking happy and proud of these angels. omg they’re in 4 categories on Itunes Japan at #1 plus they have 3 other songs on the Itunes charts too. it’s amazing they even beat out popular Japanese artists and a popular Canadian artist. talk about daebak, their BLU-RAY dvd….are you reading peeps BLU-to-the-frigging-RAY (a very expensive product) at #1 on the charts. how freaking amazing is that? ONLY SNSD!!!! Soshi were born to win, so we tell all the friends. Soshi bring S♥nes OUT. congrats angels and job well done. thanks to all those that supported, especially to J-S♥nes.

Few reasons I can think of for why it didn’t sell as much as Paparazzi on its first day:
1) Paparazzi was promoted on a higher scale and was sort of the comeback Japanese single.
2) All My Love Is For You was revealed way too early before being available for purchase. I guess some people don’t want to buy it now after listening to their youtube-ripped audio for the past month
3) People might not have wanted another remake in Oh! (I’m fine with it though)
4) Odd physical bonuses. DVD only has the Oh! music video instead of both and I don’t think there’s a poster for the single either.
anyway, I preordered it and haven’t listened to either song or watched either music video yet cause I’m waiting for it to arrive first. At least they debuted at #1 this time, hoping they can get #1 weekly chart too

er correction DVD only has the All My Love Is For You music video, not the Oh! one. And yeah I didn’t read about a poster anywhere. I’m still very ill-informed about what actually comes with the single, but I didn’t read about a poster anywhere.
