Nine months after Girls’ Generation’s second tour through Asia ended in Bangkok, Thailand, SM Entertainment will now be releasing the “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour DVD”, featuring footage from the concert tour’s start in Seoul, South Korea on July 23rd and July 24th.
The DVD hits shelves on November 30th and will cost 33,000 won. It will consist of two discs showing nearly all of the performances during the concert, a bonus film of the making of the concert, performances from Japan, personal interviews with the members of Girls’ Generation, and waiting room and rehearsal footage. A photobook and a first press limited edition poster will also be included with the DVD.

I love Seohyun’s solo performance. But why SM do that? :(
This to me is far better than the 1st Japan Arena Tour DVD. why? Because they have the SOLO performances and the 1st Japan Arena Tour DVD don’t have it. But seriously why aren’t there Yoona and Seohyun solo performances on here though? it would have been COMPLETELY perfect if they had those 2 included. C’mon SM don’t do this to Sones, you know there are going to be a lot of complains and upsets. I hope i can snatch this up with that limited poster. Wish me luck. Thank you SSF :)

shipping on yesasia is free, and it cost a shit load on kpoptown if i remember correctly.
But yesasia send it without tracking code and it takes exactly 14 days to come Turkey(all products come exactly 14 days) but kpoptown will send two set to me for USD 18.00 with tracking code and it takes ~10 days. So my suggestion is if you buy a lot of product at the same time Yeasia’s free shipping is real advantage but otherwise I recommend kpoptown for Korean albums or dvd’s
Of course shipping costs may be different for other countries.

Yeah, same question that everybody else is asking –> can someone share a valid and reliable reason, at least some solid explanation from reliable sources, as to why Yoona’s and Seohyun’s stages aren’t included (because right now all I see are speculations)? I would really want to know, because I am debating right now if I should get a preorder very soon (it’s available at YesAsia right now). I don’t want to get screwed by SMEnt later on by releasing a newer version with Seohyun’s and Yoona’s stages on it.

It’s a shame Yoona and Seohyun performances won’t be on there; possibly due to copyright issues. But I saw that YesAsia says “(Korea Version)” so maybe there’s a possible Japan Blu-Ray release?

too bad there’s no The Boys too. If only they included their The Boys performance during their tour in Singapore. It was the first time The Boys got performed in the tour.

I think SM Ent removed Yoona’s solo so that the DVD can be made for a lower rating for a more general public, if Yoona’ solo was added, the stupid Korean censorship board might might it a 19+ rating or whatever and affect the sales. I just think it might be the reason.
