Girls’ Generation has been nominated for “World’s Best Group” at the “2012 World Music Awards”, taking place on December 20th at Marlins Park Stadium in Miami, Florida. The “2012 World Music Awards” is famously set to enter the “Guiness Book of World Records” as the biggest live music awards show ever going live to the most countries, with more than a billion viewers seeing this live three hour event.
The “World Music Awards”, an international award show founded in 1989, annually honors recording artists based on worldwide sales data provided by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). This year, Girls’ Generation is up for the award of “World’s Best Group” among 41 other artists, including fellow K-Pop acts Big Bang and Wonder Girls. Online voting is currently opened on the official “World Music Awards” website. Fans can vote once per day.
Also, Girls’ Generation – TTS and Jessica are both nominated for three different categories at the “2012 SBS MTV Best of the Best'”. Girls’ Generation – TTS is nominated for both “Best Global” in the “Best Music Video” category and “Artist of the Year” in the “Best Live” category. Jessica is nominated for “Best Cameo” for her appearance in SHINee’s “Sherlock” under the “Best Music Video” category. Voting is available online at the official SBS MTV website. Fans can vote for each category once per hour.

Would someone mind posting a walkthrough on how to vote on the SBS MTV site? I tried clicking around some, but I can’t figure out if I’m voting properly. I really want to contribute, so someone give us non-Korean speaking SONEs a hand. Thanks in advance. ^_^
1) Once you’ve reached the proper page, you should see three columns of categories: one under a yellow heading, one under a blue and one under a purple.
2) The yellow is the the one with the “Best Global” (TTS) and “Best Cameo” (Jessica) categories and the blue is the one with the “Artist of the Year” (TTS) category.
3) Go down to the bottom of the yellow-bannered column and click on the yellow letters and it should send you to the voting page with its selected categories; for the blue-bannered column click the blue letters at the bottom.
4) Once on the voting page, find the category(-ies) in which TTs and Jessica are nominated. For Jessica’s “Best Cameo” nomination, you’ll find it where Shinee’s Sherlock picture is within the category, as only her name in Korean identifies her.
5) Click on the white circle that’s off the right corner of the album cover/picture
6) then click on the “vote” icon.
7) You should be sent to a page where you receive a pop-up message in Korean confirming that you cast your vote and that you can vote once every hour.

I always say the FANS made the artist or group because without the fans they artist can survive, so SONES lets do the best job that we can do help our girls until we can start to vote. We are so many people in soshified that if all soshified member vote for the girls everyday and ask to our friend for help we can do it, for me WMA is the most important award because this give the fame to all those artists and group that people dont know.
Lets tell to the world that award girls exist if someone doesnt know SNSD well they will. VOTE.

oh my goodness i live like 45 minutes away from Marlins Stadium, but problem is wrong timing for this. crap crap crap, oh well some things aren’t meant to be. anyway i’m so freaking happy for these girls being nominated in those categories. i’m going to do my best to vote for them everyday. c’mon Sones show your power.
