On January 24th, Girls’ Generation got the triple crown on Mnet’s “M! Countdown”, winning with “I Got A Boy” for the third time in a row.
The girls took the stage in cute red tracksuits decorated with hearts and bows. After performing, Girls’ Generation went up against CNBLUE and took home the award for first place.
Making the award even more meaningful is the fact that it is the 2000th day since Girls’ Generation’s debut. Seohyun and Tiffany took the mic to thank fans for their love and support before the members performed a very happy encore.

no. every artists are only allow to win up to 3 trophies max. only on music bank they can win as many times as possible. inkigayo also was like mcountdown with up to 3 trophies max but they stop giving out trophies. i don’t know why though.
I’m very, very, very glad that the girls got a triple crown on the show. And what makes it much more meaningful is that the girls got it on their 2000th day anniversary since their debut. It sure is so amazing. I know that the girls will continue to be together forever and also take on the world together as an amazingly talented nine member group. And us SONEs will make sure that 2013 is Girls’ Generation’s year. I know that the girls will win a couple more trophies before they head to Japan for their three month Japanese tour, starting next month and ending in April. And I know that the girls will do their very best not to fall sick while they’re on tour in Japan so that means I don’t have anything to worry about as usual. I wish the girls the very best of luck on their second Japanese tour and I know that they will rock the arena and have fun too.
