TC Candler has released the “Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2013”, which lists Taeyeon, Jessica, Sooyoung, and Yoona. Jessica was the first member of Girls’ Generation to appear on the annual ranking in 2011, placing 45th, and moved up to 5th in 2012, when Taeyeon and Yoona made their first appearances at 42nd and 50th, respectively. This year, Taeyeon, Jessica, and Yoona again are ranked on the top 100 at 9th, 20th, and 71st, respectively, while Sooyoung makes her first appearance on the list at 66th.
The “Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2013” comprises women from 34 countries who are chosen based on grace, elegance, class, poise, joy, promise, and hope, beyond simply aesthetic perfection. The ranking has been published annually since 1990 and recently has received close to 40 million unique visitors from around the world.

I like After School, and no doubt Nana is beautiful and deserves to be on the list, but Taengoo just plain blows her away…

Ok, I’m happy and proud of our 4 soshi girls. But, seriously no Tiffany nor yuri? I’m not being bias, but since sooyoung are in then why not fany or yuri or seohyun?

Ok, now I’m just speak out my opinion, my thoughts. I personally think Tiffany or Yuri or seohyun is more beautiful than sooyoung. I’m a selfish person I admit, I just want the best and the results I think would be right. Like I think yoona is even beautiful than the winner of this year(the no.1) and this is an opinion not out of bias but out of my true thoughts even though yoona is not my bias. I just think that Tiffany should be in, she is talented aside being beautiful and this ranking is not only based on beauty. I just thought with all her appearance at YTMA, pitching and singing at the dodgers, why did not they notice fany? I’m just feeling sad for fany, no hating others, no blaming others. That’s it. PEACE

My suggestion is simple: don’t take it too seriously. People’s aesthetics are vastly (and sometimes astonishingly) different. For me, most of the “100 most beautiful faces” won’t even be categorized as “beautiful.” Therefore, just stick to whomever you like; and that’s all, don’t care too much about what others say.

I wasn’t able to remove it. hehe. and about the list, no worries, I just also voiced out my opinion that Yuri and Fany should not be always above Sooyoung or even Hyoyeon or Sunny. yeah they are beautiful, and like what you said about Yoona being prettier than the No.1 rank, but it’s your opinion. and the list, it’s their opinion or survey I should say. honestly I was surprised that Soo was in this list, because they (sunny, soo, hyo) are always out of the talks when it comes to rankings.

Imo all 9 deserved to be ther, but Tiff and Yuri cannot surpass Sooyoung’s beauty. She would fight for the #1 Spot with TaeTae, with Yoona being right after. I love Tiffany and Yuri, but they have more of a mature face rather than cute
