Girls’ Generation is currently nominated in three categories for the “28th Golden Disk Awards”: Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and the Popularity Award. Winners will be decided based on fan voting, album sales, and the judges’ opinions.
Fans all around the world now have the ability to vote for Girls’ Generation in the three categories, with a focus on the Popularity Award. Using an Android device, an official “Golden Disk Awards Global” app is available for download at the Google Play store. After downloading the app, click on the “Charge” button at the bottom of the screen to like and share the “Golden Disk Awards” Facebook page and earn an “event vote”. Afterwards, click on the “Vote” button to show the different categories of the “Golden Disk Awards” to vote in, located on the top of the screen.
Though Girls’ Generation is listed in three categories, be sure to vote only in the “Most/Popular Star” tab, as the winner of the category is determined entirely by fan votes. Continue voting every day and tune into the “28th Golden Disk Awards” on January 16th at 5:00 PM KST. More information can be found on the official website for the awards show.

No, only first place get the reward but don’t worry, 80% is fan vote and 20% is judges vote. Let’s just hope that the judges will give more vote to our SNSD since IGAB got WAY more views than Shinee DG or even Everybody.
I saw the poll this morning. Shinee had only 1.2% more then SNSD. If the judges give SNSD more votes, there is a chance they will get the award.

Hey Sones! I just want to leave a quick reply to say : Those who has bought the votes on the app. Write an email about the situation to Google Play team and they will refund you. You have to tell them that the app didn’t warn you that only korean number can use the vote.
I just got my refund. Don’t write to Hanamobile, they won’t do anything. Write to Google Team on your buy receipt.

i just checked the polls on the golden disk awards app and the song and albums division has way too low percentage to win but the top star division still has hopes cos its ranked second wif only o.4 difference so lets don’t waste our votes and let girls generation win at least 1 award

If you guys do have only one vote, please vote for Most Popular, cause the other two (album of the year, and song of the year) they are very far behind. For Most Popular they are in 2nd place and SHINee is in 1st, we can beat them, and have the girls take the best award home. And not to be mean or anything, but SHINee isn’t really popular anymore, SHINee everybody mv didn’t even have half as many views in the first month as snsd’s IGAB mv in the first few hours of upload
I would think that you should vote for the other two, since they are the big awards.

wow they doing some changes on how peeps should vote now. i remember back in 2011 all you had to do was register with an email address, confirm email address and then get the vote on. now it’s download this and that and then vote. sigh technology! anyway goodluck all Sones, rooting for y’all.
