To clarify, though Jessica is no longer actively promoting with Girls’ Generation, she will continue to have a place in the Soshified forum and portal. Her forum section will remain intact, and photos and videos of Jessica will still be uploaded and posted in the respective media sections.
In addition, relevant news and information on Jessica from reliable sources will still be posted on the Soshified front page and in the Weekly News Soshi Wrap.
We wish Jessica all the best in her endeavors and will continue to watch over and support Girls’ Generation and Jessica in the future.
Please post any suggestions or questions in the comments.
Wise decision. I wish the same policy to continue whenever another member leaves. All girls will always be remembered as members of GG. This is the only place we can keep them together, whatever happens.
Thank god that you guys will still support Jessica, I’d be heartbroken if you didn’t
I will always and forever miss my OT9. Right now OT9, Tomorrow OT9, Forever OT9.
I hope the 9 remember they were once friends. And I hope that memory gives them vision and clarity to make themselves a better tomorrow. And on a special note for Tiffany, remember JESUS loves Jessica too.
good thing soshified
soshified thank you.
Support the 9 girls even if 1 is separated.
Thank you Soshified TT
Jessica, if you are reading this… I will always love you ^^ Please be happy, please be careful.
In the future you will probably think that SONE is not there, but really we will always be here :) Promise.
That seems like a very good response on SSF’s part, well thought out statement!
Thank you soshified!
YOU GO SSF! ♥♥♥

(sorry, that’s it. still not sure what think about the matter.)
Thanks Soshified! Forever 9!
I agree with your position on continuing to follow all the girls’ activities. I hope the situation will be resolved soon. In my opinion, after reading all the statements, this mess is due to mismanagement at SM.
I agree. I personally believe there is a lot of miscommunication involved in this matter. And since her case is different from all the others SM has had so far I want to believe that it can be sorted out. Because technically she hasn’t left the company which says a lot in itself. A lot of what happened was in the heat of the moment and that’s okay because this happens, their humans. I hope they can all sit down calmly and logically talk it out. SM to me can be very childish and often can do things without giving them much thought. By kicking Jessica out they made a really bad move which i hope they realize soon. I say this because Jessica is around the 3rd most popular member in SNSD which means she had a significant contribution to the groups success financially as she has such a huge fan base. Even though fans still support the 8 girls the album sales will not be as high. Not only this but the fans will make it slightly difficult (not accusing anyone here). When watching the china fanmeet fancams a lot of the fans shouted out her name to the point where Seohyun couldn’t speak. Also this puts the other 8 in difficult positions. Apart from just the rift in the fandom, SM is going to have to re-do all the dances and singing portions. They are missing one out of their 3 main vocals. Her voice is going to be pretty hard to replace and there will be the whole process of deciding which member can sing Jessica’s parts the best. This is followed by coordinating all the dance steps for 8 members and a bunch of other things. All in all, it is really much more trouble than it’s worth. It would be so much simpler to put her back in. If it is a rift between the members, i’m something can be figured out. If you have been with people for more than 2/3 of your life, some form of attachment occurs. There does come a time when relations get strained and you have fights but considering how long they’ve been together i’m sure they all miss each other. They will feel her absence all the time. Owing to how everyone has been more involved in solo activities communication might have been less frequent which contributed to this whole debacle. Tough times come for every relationship. You just need to get the needed space and then work it out.
Great
I think Soshified’s decision is to keep their promise (and every true and loyal Sone’s promise) to support Girls’ Generation and its 9 members all the way through, no matter what. And I commend the community for making this brave decision despite criticisms and uncertainty of future outcomes. Change is inevitable and there’s nothing we can do about that. Jessica’s decision to pursue her personal interests is made and the Girls’ and SME’s decisions are fixed and well-announced and I think all we can do is to just accept that. We can still be their loyal fans whether they’re 9 all together or just 8+1.
I thought it were a joke to support Jessica and Girls’ Generation (Jessica first and then Girls’ Generation?). Jessica stated that it was the company and ‘other 8’ that forced her out though her commitment to GG remained firm. But it was clear that her target was ‘other 8’. (She emphasized that the company agreed, but ‘other 8’ made the fuss.) It was either Jessica or ‘other 8′ at fault for this sad situation. It is irreconcilable according to Jessica’s repeated statements. (Girls’ Generation keep silent.)
Personally I could not understand Jessica’s way to break the news and how to phrase her statements. I think her intention was to burn the bridge. She didn’t care for either fans or other 8. It looks great to support both, but actually it means that soshified’s staff will support Jessica and that they don’t care whether it damages Girls’ Generation.
The truth will be revealed eventually and soshified will regret the decision.
I agree that things could have been handled better so as not to result in this mess. However, things have happened and there’s no way of bringing it back. While imo Jessica’s post on Weibo was driven by emotions (sudden surprise of being “kicked out” as she notes it), I have this feeling it’s because she saw it coming but didn’t expect it to happen not in her own terms.
All I’m saying is that we should not lose hope they’ll get to patch things up. They’ve spent lots of great years together and we fans have hoped for a more beautiful ending. And for that, I agree with Soshified’s stand to support 9girls even if they travel to separate paths. One day, we’ll never know, those paths could cross again :)
Honestly, Jessica’s way of handling the situation is commendable to some extent. I’m not saying it was the best way to handle things, but what else could she have done. While she did point fingers, she also made the brave decision to not be buried by SM’s smear campaign. It’s a possibility that when she was informed of being removed SM could have stated the girls agreeing to it which would automatically make her feel betrayed and blame them. However, SM didn’t anticipate her taking to social media and informing fans of what happened. Jessica probably knew it would cause major backlash for her as well. However, form my point of view 1. she informed fans about what is going on behind the scenes. 2. She wasn’t going to let SM come up with a bogus statement of how she is sick and then later take out a statement about how she left the group effectively putting all the blame on her. If she hadn’t said anything the outcome would have pretty much been the same, the fandom would still be divided because there would many fans who wouldn’t believe that Jessica would get up and just leave the group. SNSD and Jessica would still get backlash no matter what
Eu fiquei muito triste com isso a Jessica é linda eu espero que ela esteja bem com isso!
#SOSJessica
at this moment I am very saddened by the departure of the ice princess hope she returns to girls’ generation…
It broke my heart to see jessica go. But i do understand that change is constant in this world and i whole heartedly support jessica and the other 8 members. I will continue to love them and hope that someday, they can put this behind them and reunite as the SNSD9 we have loved all these years.
소원 forever! :)
As unfortunate as the past week has been, it’s pretty apparent at this point that SNSD was going to change in the coming year. With that in mind, I choose to view the situation as an evolution, as opposed to a split. Thank you Soshified for continuing to support all of the original members in the future.
Thank you sissified
Thank you very much fro doing this!!
This is one of the great news I heard since last week Tuesday.
Thank you very much.
I am very glad to read that!
Thank you for your lasting support towards Jessica!
Uhm SSF, currently the Power of Nine forums are using Mr. Mr. pictures of the nine girls in their respective sub-forums. Now that Jessica is no longer in the group, the other members will continue to release albums as eight.
SNSD w/o Sica will may release another Korean album in the future. Maybe the other eight will use new images which will replace their current Mr. Mr. thumbnails, but Sica will be left behind with her Mr. Mr. thumbnail in the Power of Nine forums. How will Soshified cope up with this possible inconsistency?
It might not have to be an inconsistency, if you think about how her promotions may work in the future for BLANC ECLARE, they may use a popular BLANC ECLARE picture of her, or perhaps if albums are also released by Jessica, there will be pictures of that to use as well. It’s not good or bad that way, just different. ^^
