SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment” has announced that Sooyoung will be leaving her position as co-host of the weekly program, which she has hosted with Yoon Dohyun since June of 2012, due to overseas activities next year. Her final broadcast will take place December 24th, and she will be replaced by Jang Yewon, an SBS announcer. Despite her many other obligations during her two and a half year tenure on “Midnight TV Entertainment”, including multiple dramas and promotions with Girls’ Generation, Sooyoung was an excellent host for the show, and will be missed.
Video clips of Sooyoung hosting “Midnight TV Entertainment” are found in Soshified’s Video Downloads Section.

She was amazing host, thanks for the update
Aahhh, we will miss seeing in Midnight TV Ent, Sooyoung… You’re doing great as a host there. Really entertaining to be watched.
Hmm… overseas activities huh? Well, SM said before that they want to expand furthermore into China, so maybe 2015 is the year. And Japan most likely will still be the main target for profit.
Well, as much as I love that plans, I really think they should also be more concern with Korea. I mean, let’s face it that in the term of music, 2014 is not that good for SNSD standard. Eventhough they release 2 singles (Mr. Mr as SNSD, and Holler as TTS), and it did achieve an all-kill for Mr. Mr. and top no.1 in various music charts for Holler, but the no.1 position was changed faster. They didn’t hold the position for that long. And also from the awards area, they also didn’t achieve much this year.
While I do agree that after 7 years, maybe it’s about time to give a chance for other groups, but I also want to see SNSD shows their domination once again with physical proof, not just the name itself. I mean the name SNSD is already big, nobody denies that, and everybody respects them especially all the hoobaes, but it would be nice to see them getting no.1 position for long or getting prestigious awards again.
aw she will be miss indeed. good job on hosting the show Soo. so proud of her.
i hope overseas activities means more group projects especially sub-unit “SHY2015”.
i want Korean comeback, tours and most of all international promotions.
ladies needs to get closer to their international fans too. SM please approve. -_-
thanks for updates ♥♥♥
