Nice article ^^ after i saw the tweet of soshified i was curious what was that magazine, it turned out that its MYX Magazine a popular music magazine here in the Philippines,after i saw the article i literally got excited to buy the magazine ^^. Thanks for sharing! I like your writing style. Is there any reason why most magazines in the Philippines don't use the native language? I know the US owned the Philippines for a good number of years but still you know?

My Political Science professor once told me, "In a globalized world, English is the lingua franca that should be used."

Also knowing the Filipinos' attitude about using English for publications, it shows that they want to be more educated and "classy". woot~

And I think most of us Filipinos can understand English (2nd language) so no big deal on publishing magazines and news in English.
