Mistake has one of the deepest lyrics I have ever come across. It is very creative, as most songs that have something to do with a mistake are usually break up songs, but this song is different. It talks about how it is the speaker's mistake for not showing more love to one the speaker loves. It also shows that Yuri has compositional talent rather than just singing and dancing. Yuri definitely has some lyrical talent and I hope she writes more songs in the future!

The song is so beautiful. The first time I heard it, I nearly cried. And that was without translation! They all were great in this one. It really showed their great voices. I especially liked Taeyeon's line: It’s my mistake for waiting by myself, regretting by myself, loving you by myself. When I first heard her sing this line, she controlled my emotions. I truly felt her emotions in her singing, and I became emotional, too. It made me like her even more. ( again, if that is possible
). I also liked Sunny's high notes.

i really liked this song when it first came out and when i found out that yuri had written the lyrics, i just had to find out what they were!! and all the translations on youtube can be too literal and badly worded sometimes >.<
