I think it's something we all are able to relate to. Like people questioning if it's worth it for you to support them when they don't even know you. But ultimately at the end of the day when I see these 9 girls putting in so much effort into the things they do, my admiration and adoration go a step further than just liking them as idols. Reading this really made me reflect back on why I became a Sone.

The girls maybe the first kpop group I ever encountered which explains my fandom, but I don't think its just so easy or simple.

We don't just love them because they are pretty, they sing well, they dance well etc and other superficial reasons. We Sones love them because of who they are inside and how they became one with the name of So Nyeo Shi Dae. We don't just love, but we look up to them as a source of inspiration, a pillar of strength, a role model for some.

We all know nothing ever lasts forever, one day they are going to reach an end. But regardless, we choose to stay by their sides all the way, and their names lives on in our hearts forever and more. We hear many touching stories of their kind actions, and we are proud of them.

And that's why, we proudly call ourselves, Sones. For life. ♥

I believe most of us who had read this thread all encountered similar situations as well...
"Who are they that you need to devote so much time to?"
"Who are they that makes you even speak up for them when anyone talks bad about them?"
"Are they even worth it?"
All of them have been asked by my close friends.
I speak up and protected the girls whenever they talk bad, I don't care that the end result gets me unnoticed or spurs the growing 'unreasonable' hatred my friends have of them, I don't regret it.
The girls have as much weight in my heart as my family and best friends, and I will never let ppl insult any of them within my listening ear.

I have never regretted stepping into this fandom, supporting the girls in every way I can,

Because, they make my life complete in return. Either with just a simple show appearance, an event fancam or even hearing their voices... I feel really happy and contented.

Every language and country have their own beautiful voices and singers, be it America or Taiwan... Is it too much to ask for, for my own group that I support?
Is it too much, to ask that I only need your basic respect towards the girls and me?

Thank you once again, for shining light onto many Sones dark and hesitating paths, because you did made mine, clearer to walk on.
