Happy *5th* anniversary to our 9 angels! you're 5 years old now ;P
can't believe it's already been 5 years :')
although i wasn't there since the beginning, i'm so glad i got to join in for the rest of the ride
i can't wait to see what the next 5 years will bring and the 5 after that and 5 after that and the 5 after that....to 500 xD
we've been together through the good times and hard times, we've laughed together and cried together, and have shared infinite memories together...it's been a long journey so far, but i know that there is a longer journey ahead....and i'm so ready for the ride together

To the 9 girls who have changed my life, Happy 5th Anniversary♥

There's so much to say, but i do not believe i am able to express it too well in words.

It's been 5 years. 5 long years since you girls have debuted. 5 years of tears and sweat and hardwork.
I dont think i'll ever understand how you girls felt through all the hardships.
You girls have gone through so much. So much that i wonder how you managed to get through it all.
Before debut, you girls were known as the counterpart to Super Junior.
You girls were looked down upon, simply for the number of members you were said to have.
Harsh comments were posted, with people believing SM is being crazy for making large groups.
Many thought you were destined to fail.
And look at where you are now.

You've all gone through so much.
From the large amount of antis you've faced throughout your debut to now.
To the devastating black ocean that you've experienced.
But it doesnt matter. None of that matters.
Because you've all made it.
All the pain and heartache that you've gone through in the past.
Now, you're performing in the largest arenas with your big group of loving fans. Your sone.

I will never be able to express what you've all done for me.
I used to be really sad. I used to think the world was dark and cold.
I used to have so many negative thoughts.
I used to be...an empty shell living life.
But then. In the summer of 2010. You girls came into my life.
Something just....caught my eye.
And look at where i am now.

You girls have changed my world.
You girls made me believe that life has many things to offer.
You girls gave me hope.
You girls showed me how to get through the hardships.
You girls showed me something that i thought was impossible.
You girls showed me love, determination, and strength.
Despite the hardships and challenges i face, i'm going to keep moving. Because you girls showed me how.
And i think i'll always be grateful for all of you for that.

I thank you 9 lovely girls for making me believe.
I thank you for giving me the hope i needed to get through life.
I thank you for performing on those stages despite the tiredness you may feel.
I thank you for inspiring us all.
I thank you for loving us sone.
I thank you, for being you.

I sincerely wish that you girls are happy and healthy.
Celebrate this day together, with family and friends.
Celebrate this. The day where 9 angels started their journey.
9 angels are now running the world with their sones.

Almost 5 years ago... You 9 girls started out on a Journey, A Journey for the Fulfillments of your dreams.
At the beginning of that Journey 9 girls started out scared and nervous but Determined to show the world that you are ready.
and so... on that fateful day of August... You 9 girls sang and danced with all your heart, pouring each line with your feelings.
you sacrificed your childhood something that never could be regained. but you girls rallied with each other putting aside differences and egos

In your 5th anniversary since your debut with a fresh and pure "Into The New World", I wish you all the happiness and success for the many years to come together AS 9, but AS 1 at the same time.

I also want to thank you for all the joy you have continuously brought to us, your fans, S♥NE. The BOND between the 9 of you and the one between you and S♥NE is beautifully indescribable. "How great is your love", you say to us, and we reply with the same sentence, day by day.

Through all these years (not only the 5 we are celebrating now, but the ones in pre-debut, also) you have shown strong determination, HARD WORK and the best mood possible while walking the path towards the reach of your DREAMS. Wow, five years already? time sure passes very quickly~

The Power of Nine surely does exist! I've never felt so alive being a SONE!

Anyways, to all SONEs here, I do know that these nine girls surely did change our lives at some point in it; mine was at the deepest point in my life when these nine girls somehow became my safety net from falling any deeper into an endless drop. My life surely had changed. Girls' Generation, you are my life, my nine pair of wings, surely when the world was made, God had in mind something, a certain nine girls that would rise up and be the angels in every SONEs' hearts. Throughout the years, I felt and saw the rapid change and closeness of Girls' Generation and SONEs alike. We are truly blessed to have you girls as our angels in our lives!

SNSD, you will always be in our hearts and so will we as SONEs be in yours~



Ten is the perfect number, but there are nine, who is that tenth person or persons? Nine people who are very different from each other that became ONE. Stayed strong together, cared, understand, guided, and loved each other, for 5 years... Even though days are hard for all of you to get together because of the other members individual schedule, you always try to talk, bond, care and show love for each other. Every single member is so precious. Every single member has their own personality that makes them special. Actually I don`t really know why I love you guys so much... It just started when I saw the music video of S.E.O.U.L cause I'm also an ELF... My friends told me that they hate Girls Generation, then I told them "why do you hate them?? they're pretty and they have a good voice...", then she told me a shocking answer "they are flirty!!" I laughed cause I know she's only saying that because she saw the girls with SuJu... After that I always search for their songs. Every time I had a bad day I just play your songs until I fell asleep then when I woke up I'm happy. I even played 힘내 and Run Devil Run over and over again while having my 1km run test so I end up getting the 3rd highest score..I will always be a SONE even though my parents doesn't like the fact that I like kpop...

Honestly I wasn't going to edit this post today...I was going to wait till I had some elaborate message with lots of pictures and quotes that was going to be really long and most likely really boring...I decided against it.
Although I have only been your fan for a year and some months I can't believe how much you 9 angels mean to me.
I found Girls' Generation in a pretty boring part of my life. Nothing exciting was happening, Nothing bad was happening. It was just average.
Shortly after my life got pretty bad. My grandmother who helped raise me my whole life passed away, my grades in school started to get worse, my friends weren't there for me in my lowest time. I honestly felt like no one cared. I hardly ever smiled or laughed but one day i decided to watch some episode cuts of you girls and I was laughing and smiling again at your dorky antics. Laughter is the best medicine~
You girls really worked hard to be where you are now and I'm so proud to call myself a Sone. So Happy 5th Anniversary Girls' Generation.
Be healthy, always smile, and always be yourself!

I have known SNSD for less than one year, but I feel so privileged even to have followed them for that long. Never before has any musical artist touched me in so many ways before, bringing cheer into otherwise gloomy or boring times.

All I can say is a big thank you and congratulations to the girls for having maintained and developed their group for this long, and for doing so many things which make me feel thankful for their existence.

Here's wishing all the girls the very best of luck for their remaining years to come!

Alright so first of all, I must say that I've been listening to the girls, and semi-following their stories and news for a couple years now. It was only in the past few months that I've stepped up my fandom. That being said, I know there are many of you who have been a lot more invested in supporting the girls for a lot longer than I have. I don't want to come off as cheesy, but I have a great deal of respect for each of these girls, and though it may sound corny, I could not be more sincere in these words I'm writing.

To hear the stories of their hardships and troubles along this long road they have traveled just makes me that much prouder of them for persevering and chasing their dreams. It takes a real dedicated group of individuals to do what they have done.

My admiration and adoration for them, is unmatched for any other star(s). I couldn't be happier for them to have succeeded and accomplished all that they have thus far. It's really mind-boggling, to think of all the time and hard work they have put into becoming who they are today, and for this to still be the beginning in some respects.They are already so well known throughout the world and yet continue to have these great ambitions of reaching the ears of more people! I can't wait to see what's in store in the next few years and look forward to continuing to support and love each of these nine incredible girls for years to come.
